Background Information

  • The DeepTech Incubator Project for Startups, also known as DIPS 1000+ Global Relay IR, is an initiative by the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups (oversight agency) and Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (designated agency).

  • The government and and private sector in South Korea jointly inject approximately $1.4 billion USD for 5 years (2023 - 2027) with the aim to select and nurture around 1,000 DeepTech startups that will lead the national economic development, in which 10 startups listed here are selected.

  • This Demo Day is a part of DIPS 1000+ Global Relay IR, which is hosted and operated by SYP and supported by GDIN.

  • SYP, an accelerator designated by the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups since 2018, guides and supports startups through discovery, investment, incubation, marketing, public relations, practical training, and professional mentoring to enhance their competitiveness and success.

  • GDIN, a foundation registered under the South Korean Ministry of Science and ICT since 2013, fosters global collaboration and innovation by leading forward-thinking companies through consultation (legal, patent, accounting, investment, marketing, public relations), global IR, tech-matching, and joint venture formation.
